When you plasma cut the tip should never actually touch your work piece, it will burn up the tips quickly, you want to leave about a 1/4 to 1/2 inch gap between the arc and the work piece just like you would when mig or flux welding. Other than that great review.
It's one of the few cheaper PCs that actually put out their stated rating. The yeswelder equivalent, at 55A, usually only hits about 40A so from about 40 to 55 on the YW cut 55 , it doesn't seem to actually increase
