UPDATE: Since we filmed this video (which was not sponsored), Bantam Tools has decided that, while they will still have a pro-level subscription option, they will open up full feeds and speeds override to non-subscribers. Here’s their blog post about the announcement: https://www.bantamtools.com/blog/speeds-and-feeds-override-are-included
We test and review the new Bantam Tools Desktop CNC, a powerful three-axis milling machine for precision carving of aluminum, wood, and other hard materials. Jen walks us through her experience using the CNC as a stepping stone from 3D printing and laser cutting, navigating the CAM workflow with Bantam Tools’ user-friendly software. Here’s how this machine can fit into maker spaces and home workshops to level up a maker’s digital fabrication skillset.
NOTE: This is not a sponsored video.

Bruh I need a cheap one that can cut aluminum
12:30 "Not as loud" but working with ear protection xD
Know anything similar but can do steel I'm looking to make small precise steel parts.
Subscriptions suck.
cnc is so expensive
Is the collet Chuck removable with an R8 taper or something? 🤔
4K cnc mashine and the couldn’t even put in ballscrews
Is this an ad for Bantam tools … or a review? No disrespect to the young lady … but it honestly sounds like she is reading from a script … and watching her using that allen key … i had to look away as she tightened the bolt with the allen key half in and @ a 45 degree angle … yikes! I couldnt watch anything after that allen key scene. Im off to find a "real" review!
Commercial, not review
Can it cut shape of rolex bezel?
These specs are terrible! Good construction, but it has the specs of a $300 machine for $4,000!!
Hmm… thinking (if need be) covering a non-conductive workpiece in a thin piece of (slightly tacky foil) might do the trick in getting the auto-probe to detect the workpiece, but then again, manual probing probably doesn't take that long.
0:56 a broken bit… lol!!
This is a piece of junk for the price.
UGH! Wordy!!! HOW much, what will it cut… 10 seconds, done!
This is an Ad, not a review. This product is shit, you can have something more solid from Aliexpress for 200€. Please see an honest review on YT
This thing is $4000. I turned the video off when I saw that.
0:46 is it 250w or is it 1/4 horsepower???? a/4 horsepower is 184w, not 250w
seems like a scam trying to seem more powerful
$3600 lol silly people
I don't understand! This machine is selling for $4000, but how come everything is so cheap, Nema 17 stepper motor, lead screw, 250w spindle… for the cost of all these hardware configurations, I would pay no more than $1000 for this thing.
this is advertising and no testing, but why advertising interrupted by advertising ?!
Ghost gunner is better.
28K rpm spindle, it's like an air tool
only a thousand dollars out from a base model tormach. why would you buy this?
You must pay extra for software!!?? no way
