A woman after my own tool. And beat me to it😮

Edgar Prothero says:

April, you are so awesome! Can you create wood enclosures? Small ones for electronics projects?

Mark K says:

April, the only issue I have with automation is it takes jobs away from people that need those jobs. I get why more companies are going with automation but those machines still needs human hands to fix them. Unfortunately time will come sooner than later where robots will dominate and leave more and more people homeless and destitute. Then these business owners will say was it really worth all that expense. I also know you will come back saying but I can make more money.

Gu says:

what model is that ShopSabre and how much are they? like 20-30k?

Damage Incorporated Metal43Ver says:

I like to see what you've done. I had the same concept in mind for recyclable footwear. Being that a podiatrist recommends changing them out every 3 months. Peace & good luck in the future !!!

Robert Brown says:

I am a woodworker by hobby and over the years I have watched your videos. I have lived in Houston most of my life but recently moved to Canyon Lake. I have DIYed three cnc's and just a month ago ordered a AVID Pro 5×6 for my shop. Driving into town (New Braunfels) I pass by this business called "The Wood Shed" and often wondered what went on in there. Today I watched this video and was surprised to learn that you are "the wood shed". I could walk to your shop from my house. Your growth from 8 years ago to now is amazing. I hope I can get half as far as you have with my little shop Texas Hill Country Woodworking. Cudos April!

David Zaenglein says:

Before I retired I worked for a company that made CNC sheet metal machinery. I ran a CNC boring mill. the parts I ran had to be loaded and unloaded with an overhead 20 ton capacity crane. This video was very interesting to me. FYI I like all of your videos.

Raul McCai says:

nice video. I'm happy for you that you have something you love and is growing. You didn't touch on the most critical elements of any manufacturing business. Sales, marketing. Do you outsource that. I can't tell you how many machine shops I have worked with that failed, not because they weren't good at what they did, but because they didn't understand marketing. Clearly, you do.
