put a rotary encoder on that Asme shaft and you will have a really nice rig
Good to see your machine is working Great. Last cut i.e. both side radius and straight in the middle, detailed video is preferred. You can try belt drive and see if the smoothness of the cut is improving.

Great project! Add a "Y" axis and a couple of DRO's you could do some very precise located circles, or even just go a little farther and make a CNC plasma torch. Lots of options. Very nice job!
Тот случай, когда работа впечатляет гораздо сильнее, чем полученный результат 🙂 Вам совсем немного не хватило, чтобы превратить это в полноценный плазморез с числовым управлением. А круги нарезать можно как-то попроще.
