Hi, could you tell me why the contact tip is not sticking outside the gas nozzle. If I was welding anything, say 4" thick, then I WOULD have the tip how you have it. (spray transfer). But for thin metal or butt weld root runs, I would have the tip longer so it stuck out of the gas shield. (dip transfer).
The most informative video I’ve seen yet. Great work!
Brilliant Video, Thank you
Absolutely awesomeness! Thank you sir for sharing your knowledge! I appreciate you
TOP FOR TELLING US TONY AUSTRALIA THANKS
I always use a Knipex plier wrench, these don’t round nuts off and it will fit any fitting in the shop! 🙂
Also, you use 75-25, we mainly use 82-18. Does this make a big difference? Why would you choose either of these two mixes?
Thanks, I really appreciate your teaching and the video. Good job, well done.
Awesome video….so when does the gas start to come out….is it automatic when the trigger is pulled?
Thanks
thanks for the videos, they are a big help for new welders like myself.
Great video lots of content
HAVE YOU EVER CAUGHT YOUR BEARD ON FIRE? Asking for a friend..lol
Thanks very much for this, very helpful to a newbie amateur like me.
Give this fella a pay rise! Well spoken and easy to understand and a bit of humour that helps keep you engaged in what he’s teaching. Thank you!
Highly educational video, very nice set up, thanks for sharing, I start welding in 1968 still enjoying doing it very much, never to late to learn something new,Safety above everything you do relate to welding to have a long and exciting career, keep up the good work 👍
At around 11:30, does that hose, that connects for the gas, need any lube on its o-rings?
Great video. I am learning a lot.
